This past weekend I made a bunch of different appetizers/snacks for my birthday dinner. One of the recipes I decided to make was deviled eggs.
The key to making nice deviled eggs is making sure you don’t overcook the hard boiled eggs. To ensure this bring the slightly salted water to a boil then add the eggs and either
- with a gas stove turn the burner on low
- with an electric stove turn the burner off
Cook for 10-12 minutes. Cool the eggs completely.
Once the eggs are cool you can peel them, slice in half and put yolks into bowl. Combine yolks with salt, pepper, mayonnaise and a small amount of sriracha. Whisk ingredients together until smooth. Put mixture into piping bag and pipe back into egg halves. Sprinkle with paprika and serve
